Photograph’n with Lisa

Last week I went out photographing with my friend Lisa Cumen an extremely accomplished equine fine art photographer. When I say I went out photographing what I mean is that I held her lenses and water bottle while she did what she does so well- create magic. And by the way, I was quite happy to do so. I love watching artists at work.

Lisa was shooting on commission- basically employed by a horse owner to come and photographer her horse and get the same exquisite images Lisa is known for. Except Lisa has to do it at the convenience of the owner and under less then ideal circumstances and conditions. It is ‘Art of Request’ and it is equally part impossible and part absurd.

And yet, Lisa being Lisa, art was imagined and created that late afternoon. These are Lisa’s initial favorite images from the shoot. Go visit Lisa’s website for more of her outstanding photography-http://lisacuemanphotography.com
