Phone Photography

There was a time not so long ago that I pooh-poohed a smart phone as a tool for photography. Boy, what an idiotic thing to say!

As many of you all already know, the beauty of phone photography is that the phone/camera is always with you! And with today’s newer phones the image quality and size are good enough that the images can be used for most applications. You can’t make a giant print but I use images from my phone lots of ways including for my teaching presentations and in my websites.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I will never get those attachable lenses and other knick-knacks that you can use to trick out your phone, I actually have an adult camera for serious photography.  But in a pinch, when my  D750 is back in my office, I am quite happy that my phone is a camera as well.
