Inside Wood

Just in case you were wondering what I have been doing these last few weeks I will let you in on my activities- I’ve been putting up my firewood. Yup, that’s about it. I’ve done 12 cords so far- cut, hauled, split,  stacked and admired- that’s a pile of stacked wood 24′ deep, 16 feet across and 12 feet high. Only 4 more cords to go to make me winter content.

As you can imagine this represents a lot of time looking at the inside of logs. Ever wonder what the inside of log looks like? Me too. Let me show you.
